DGBiz Idea Pitch Arena 2026 (DIPA2026), organised by Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Ipoh, brings together students, professionals and entrepreneurs from public and private higher education institutions under the theme “Digital Innovation for Future Business.”
The theme highlights the role of digital technologies in transforming ideas into innovative, practical and sustainable business solutions. It encourages participants to address real-world challenges by exploring technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, mobile applications, digital platforms, automation and other emerging technologies.
Participants will develop, structure and present their innovative business ideas using the Business Model Canvas. Through this process, they will strengthen their strategic thinking, business development, problem-solving and professional communication skills while evaluating the market potential, feasibility and future impact of their proposed solutions.

IPTA / IPTS
RM100 / group
Open to students from public and private higher education institutions. Each team may consist of a maximum of five members, including the advisor.

Professionals & Entrepreneurs
RM180 / group
Individual or group participation. Maximum five members per group.

KPTM Ipoh Students
Free
No participation fee for eligible KPTM Ipoh students.
Participation fees are non-refundable.
BMC & Video Submission
Turn your idea into a complete business model.
Your poster must explain the proposed business idea across all nine BMC components. Use the official template when it becomes available.

Participants are required to include the official DIPA2026 introductory video at the beginning of their pitching video.

Participation requirements
Rules & Regulations
The competition is open to students from public and private higher education institutions, professionals and entrepreneurs.
Each team shall consist of a maximum of five (5) participants per group.

Each team is required to submit the following:
- Business Model Canvas (BMC) Poster — The BMC must clearly present the proposed business idea using the nine (9) BMC components.
- Pitching Video (YouTube Link) — Each team must submit a valid YouTube link to its pitching video.
- Both items must follow the official templates available on the website.
The pitching video must not exceed five (5) minutes.
Videos exceeding the stipulated duration may be subject to a penalty or disqualification at the discretion of the organiser and/or judging panel.
The presentation must be conducted entirely in either Bahasa Melayu or English.

The proposed product or service must:
- Be an original creation of the participating team.
- Address a real-world problem, need or opportunity.

All eligible participants will receive an e-Certificate of Achievement based on their level of performance: Gold, Silver or Bronze.

The three teams with the highest overall scores in each category will receive the following prizes:
Category 1: IPTA/IPTS Students
- First Place: RM500.00 + e-Certificate
- Second Place: RM300.00 + e-Certificate
- Third Place: RM200.00 + e-Certificate

- First Place: RM500.00 + e-Certificate
